The boating in Kumarakom offers a well spend day, which sets a relaxed leisure mode. Those who came to Kumarakom to run away from busy and polluted city life, a cruise through the backwaters and canals offers a heavenly feeling. There are different types of boats operating through the backwaters from small canoes to Big Houseboats.

​Day Cruise:-

​

  • Boats which can accommodate 2 - 50+ people available.

  • Hourly rates starting at Rs 1300/ Hour/ Full Boat. ( Irrespective of number of occupants, Rate quoted for a full bpat on normal season. Rates increase on season and also on size of the boat) 

  • Lunch available at Rs 450/head. ( Non Veg:Rice, The famour Karimeen Fry, Chicken Curry, Avial, Moru Curry, Pappadam..etc. This also includes welcome drink, evening snacks and tea/coffee.Veg: Paneer Curry or similar replaced with non veg dishes. Rs 350/head.)

  • Cruise only through big river channel and the backwater.

  • Covers pathiramanal Island ( The operator has the rights to cancel this upon weather and land conditions.)

  • Boats exclusive for the our guests. Not on shared basis.

Night stay and Day Cruise / Full Day:-

  • Single Bedroom to seven bedroom boats available.

  • Each bedroom accommodates 2(adults) + 1(infant <5) on normal occupancy and an extra bed ( 5+ years).

  • Check-in time 12:01pm. Cruise upto 5pm (As night cruise is restricted by Gov.) Checkout at 09:00am.

  • Lunch, Snacks, Tea/Cofee, Welcome drinks, Dinner, breakfast covered.

  • Rs 8500 for single bedroom (2+1) in normal season. ( Rs 4600 for extra bedrooms. and Rs 1000 for extra bed.)

  • Boats exclusive for the our guests. Not on shared basis.

Cruise:-

  • Boats which can accommodate 2 - 30 people available.

  • Hourly rates starting at Rs 700/ Hour/ Full Boat. ( Irrespective of number of occupants, Rate quoted for a full boat on normal season. Rates increase on season and also on size of the boat. Please note that the cost starts from Rs 450 depending on the size and quality of the boat and operator. For a standard quality service it costs Rs 750) 

  • Cruise through big river channel, Canals and the backwater.

  • Covers pathiramanal Island ( The operator has the rights to cancel this upon weather and land conditions.)

  • Boats exclusive for the our guests. Not on shared basis.
